We have a tradition in this household to teach our children the fine art of "toasting" at special family dinners.  This includes the use of fine wine glasses even for the little ones.  So when asked what she would like to drink for her toast at Christmas dinner, Marissa chose "Christmas Milk".  My reaction was "What?"  Her reaction was priceless...as though I was either deaf or daft..."Christmas Milk Mom!"  So from here on in the traditional "Nog" of Christmas will be known as "Christmas Milk".  What a unique spin on an old tradition, yet so appropriate as seen through the eyes of a child.
