The wheels on the bus go round and round..."Oh the places you'll go! (Dr Seuss)

May 27, 28 and 29 were the Tiny Tots school orientation days for the Jr Kindergarten children.  Momma took the days off to spend the time with our little man, getting ready for the inevitable.  Most of the three days Mark would not leave the doll house set up.  He is very "domestic" and wanted to play with the Mommy, Daddy and baby "Mokey", putting his family in the truck, in bed and set up at the table for meals.  This is his little world right now.  He did try some of the other play activities but would always go right back to his "family" in the doll house.  He did serve "tea and pizza" to the adults.  It was hard to capture photos where he is not a complete blur.  He was not at all interested in the craft activities but that did not surprise me as he will not even colour here at home.  The most exciting event on the last day was the ride on the bus.  I cannot tell you how excited he was and had to be held back so he did not butt in the line.  The one photo shows him sitting in his "cubby" where they have to wait at the end of the school day for the "Bus Buddy" (a grade six student), will come and get them to escort them to the right bus.  He could hardly get his foot up on the step!  I do not have the heart to tell him that he will be dropped off by Mommy in the before and after school care program.  I will wait to break that news to him later.  In all it was a wonderful week and Momma very much enjoyed watching his excitement.  I must admit though it brought a lump to my throat...crikey he seems so small.  It is time though and to quote Dr Seuss..."Oh the places you will go!" As you look out the bus window son...what are you thinking?  The possibilities are endless.  Love you son...your Momma
