Mark gets a tractor lesson
Hope everyone had a great long weekend. We had lots of fun outside today. Mark got a lesson in driving the tractor (with the engine off), Daddy got to do some outdoor chores and Momma was able to get the plants out of the sunroom and set up the pond. We have to keep the wagon wheels over the pond while Mark is little but we are still happy to be able to see the fish and enjoy watching the frogs. We set up the dining tent with the many parts that never seem to fit right and despite the best of intentions Mommy and Daddy locked horns trying to get it up without killing each other. At least it did not fall over and knock anyone out but Mark did have to remind us "Don't use bad words". Sigh...some things a child should not have to bear witness to! At least most of the time he wandered off to go play on his climber or ride in his car. Once it was up we were able to have our lunch outside under the tree. It is nice to have a cool, bug free place to eat when it is hot inside. We ended the day with Daddy and Mark playing their guitars for Madi who came for a surprise visit. Mark was pretty happy to see her and so were we. Happy Victoria Day long weekend folks...back to work tomorrow.
