Mark is starting to demand to go to the barn with Daddy at night to do the chores.  A happy time for Momma to make dinner in peace.  One of his favorite activities is to check the hen house for fresh eggs.  He has two chickens that he enjoys following and will even go out the chicken door to chase them back into the barn so that he can give them their food and than will check in every corner for the eggs.  I am sure that this will be an enterprise that he will grow into a small business for his spending money.  This little man is still quite fearful of any toys that have a battery operated motor and will run away when "chased" by a remote car....yet when it comes to hanging around in the hen house or walking in the paddock with the cows and calves, he is fearless.  Mark seems to love farming.  I hope that he has many farm memories that will carry with him through life.  Staying connected to where we get our food from is a priority for this family!
