More Toronto day fun...

Much of what we saw on the island reminded both Daddy and Mommy of China.  Beautiful gardens, well kept lawns and fountains.

The swans would have made my Mother happy because she was their number one fan!
When we returned back to the mainland we had to walk several blocks as the large ferry did not come as close to where Tyler's condo is.  On the way back we saw the Purina Pet Museum where they have lots of stories about animals who have rescued their owners etc.  We only climbed on the dog and cat outside and did not go in.  Everyone was tired and we were anxious to get home to the Franklin birthday cake!  We ended the day with a swim in Tyler's pool and you can see that both Mark and Marissa are starting to venture out by themselves!  Marissa actually could swim a bit of a crawl, unsupported by anyone and Mark was able to creep along the side holding on but way over his head in depth.  This is a great achievement as he would never have done this before without Momma or Daddy holding on to him.

Sorry that the photos are loaded out of order.  This is actually back at the beach on the island where Mark had to go over to the lifeguard and thank him for watching the children and "keeping them safe!".  That's my boy!  Always thanking everyone for anything!

Here is the ferry that brought us back to the main land.  Mark was much happier with the larger boat but it made me more nervous.  Funny, I guess I have read one too many news articles of ferries sinking, especially in Korea.  I am still traumatized by that! Some things you just cannot put out of your mind.  Way too many people jamming on to the boat for my liking!

You have to love the Toronto skyline.  Tyler says it looks especially nice during the night.  Perhaps we can do that some time as well.

In all it was a very busy, fun filled family day and a huge success.  We had lots of fun and it will not be long before we are back to visit big brother Tyler again!  Thanks for the great time Tyler!  We love you!
