The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face!
Mark Meets His Sister...love at first sight!

Just like that...after two years of searching...it took only two weeks for our family to be complete! Through our profile posted on the Adopt Ontario Website, that I had completed two years ago, our family was suggested for a match with a little girl here in Ontario! Who would have known that this perfect little Miss was waiting so close to home for us to find her. We owe a mountain of gratitude to our adoption worker at Elgin CAS for following up on the suggestion that we may want to parent this child! Thank-you to the Hamilton Catholic CAS for believing in us and our ability to provide a loving Christian home for this precious one. In my heart I always knew that I would someday have a daughter and our God answers prayers! Nothing happens by chance. This child was named Marissa by her birthmother. Marissa means "Little Mary...a child wished for!" How appropriate can this be, for in our search for "Mary" God knew that Marissa was to be our daughter. A special big hug and love is sent to the foster family who cherished this child and nurtured her when we could not. Their foundation of love and Christian values has already set her on the right path. Yes Marissa..."Jesus loves me this I know...for the Bible tells me so!" We are so blessed! Our family is complete. We can hardly wait to have you meet your big sister Kim and big brother Tyler. Elyssa, Alex, Mark and Marissa..."Oh the Places We Will Go".

I just wanted to say that the video brought tears to my eyes. Seriously, so OVERJOYED for the Schell Family!!
Uncle Paul and I are soooo pleased with the way God answered this prayer! You can see His handiwork all through this--right down to your sister's name, Mark. God knew your parents would be content to parent just you, but they worried that you might have missed being a big brother. God knew that you needed Marissa to travel on life's journey--and He likely knew that she needed you just as much! We are so thrilled to welcome her to our family!
