Here are the rest of the photos of the first day of school.  We have lots of video for Mark to savor as he gets older but for the blog these photos capture the events of the morning and the end of the day.  Mark was very happy when I picked him up and was playing with some little girl friends that seemed equally happy to play with him.  Once we got home however, Mark did not last through supper and told us that he was tired and wanted to go to bed.  He wanted to be in our bed so we left him with Daddy for the night.  I do not think he moved a muscle once he hit the pillow.  Such a long day for a little man!  He did love the day and Amy and his teacher Mrs. McIntyre (he will also have Ms. Overmars) said that he had a wonderful day and that he was very polite and helpful to the other children who were also just starting.  That is our little Mark, always concerned about how everyone is....."Are you ok?  It's ok.  We'll be alright!"  What a little sweet heart.  To bad that I cannot say that he is always that way with his Mommy and Daddy.  Most days he is, except when he is tired.  The first day of school...Wow...how fast they grow!  Mommy and Daddy wish you every success in your adventures ahead son.  We are here to help you grow and learn.
