And it burns, burns, burns....way too hot!

Today it was 36 degrees when I left work!  You could almost hear the pavement melting.  What the heck is with that!  It has been so hot and really the flies have been intolerable.  The poor horses and cows are all running around trying to get away from them.  We have been chilling in the pool.  It is really not much fun when it gets this hot.  Of course now Daddy is talking about cutting the hay again because it is calling for dry weather for the next week or so.  I cannot even imagine what it will be like if we do that.  Lucky for Mark that he is way too young to care anything about hay.  Right now he just wants to go from the pool at the babysitters to the pool at home.  Cannot say that I blame him.  I'm usually headed there myself.  In a few weeks we will be at Port Burwell with Aunt Edwina camping out.  So looking forward to it!  Yippeee....one whole week in our trailer!  Hopefully lots more pictures of summer fun to come yet.  Stay cool everyone!!!

Mark, your pool looks so inviting! It's been 100 degrees here for 3 days in a row, and high 90's for the week! They say we are going to get some cool Canadian air this weekend--doesn't sound like it's coming from your farm!
Love you little buddy. Can't wait to eat smores with you!
