Our second Bull calf...Tugg born to Bonnie!

Well here is our second little fella.  Daddy is also kind of sad that he is a bull because farming is not kind to the boys.  He arrived today while we were at work.  In a few years he will be ready to go.  The breeder is going to come have a look at these guys to decide if they are going to stay as bulls or be banded into steers.  Momma has called this one Tugg as it is easier to remember what year they are born if you keep the first initials of their names consistent.  I am especially happy because our old cow Bonnie did not have a calf last year and we were worried that she was going to end her career as a breeding cow.  In case you are wondering...that is a glass of iodine in Doug's hand not anything you would want to drink.  Mom and babes are all happy and the weather seems to be a bit warmer as there is no cold wind.  Hopefully they will sleep well tonight.  I know I will because we are not expecting to have the other two as yet.  No more midnight cow checking for now.  More friends for Mark to play with.
