WORMS IN THE KITCHEN!
Well I must say you have not lived until your son has run about butt naked digging up worms in your kitchen. Seems that Mark has taken a shine to his new "shubel" and wants to dig up the worms. Not sure where he got this idea. Most of the worms seem to be coming from under the door. Good job it is not too creepy to Mommy. I did show him some worms this past summer as I worked in the flower beds. There is also a part in Little Bear where he digs up some worms for fishing but he has not watched that for quite some time. I guess it was the fact that Momma found this shovel at the second hand store and thought he would like his own garden tools. Evidently he does very much so and no amount of trying to convince him to keep the shovel for outside chores has been successful. So for now we play the game of letting him drop them into the sink while he wrinkles up his nose and says "Yech" and Momma will wash them down the drain. What an imagination son! Hopefully you will still want to use the "shubel" in the spring and really give your Mommy a hand....that would be great!

Wait until he sees what his shubel can do in the snow! Haven't you ever heard about snowworms? Real pests. :)
