Mark's Shangrao Nanny!

We have friends that are in China right now picking up their second daughter and they were able to visit the orphanage where Mark was for the first two years of his life.  This wonderful woman was the one who looked after him and graciously gave him over to us!  We were able to get photos to her of both Mark and his Shangrao sister Elspeth.  This photo was taken in Cambridge at a MacDonald's play day when Elspeth's Mom Heather and I met with the kids.  Cambridge was in the middle and that way we both did not have such a long drive.   Jan says that she had tears in her eyes and clutched the photo to her chest.....she misses the kids and would like to see them soon!  Oh if it were only that easy!  We will go back and hopefully it will not be too long and she will still be there.  I want Mark to be old enough to remember the trip and be able to take it all in.  Such a wonderful journey and the peace of knowing that so many have had a hand in bringing this wonderful child into our lives.  We love you Mark, your Nanny loves you and we love her for loving you when we were not able to!

It was a fun day with the kids and obviously appreciated over there just as much. :)Wonder what Elspeth's nanny thought.
