MARK TURNS THREE!
Today is Mark's birthday and we had a mini celebration with a special musical birthday card and white sugar icing donuts. Mark as you know loves the Little Bear cartoons and one of the characters is a "goblin". Much like this little garden knome with red hats and shoes. These mischevious characters are always up to no good with some antic or another. Mark will run to the kitchen and get Mommy to hold his hand and watch these parts because he is still a little uncertain if he is comfortable with the "Bloblins". Today he got a little musical card that sang "Happy, happy, happy sun shinny day to you, to you. Happy, happy, happy, birdie churping day to you, to you. Happy, happy, happy birthday, Yeah! to you...Happy, happy, happy birthday to you. Mark seemed quite smitten with this little card and with the musical jingle, I think he has turned the corner with the "Bloblins". He was holding this little guy and making a sad face and saying "Ahhhhh.....poor Bloblin, poor Bloblin". He has such compassion and it was like he had found a long lost friend. What a cute moment. Daddy and Mommy sang happy birthday and shared your donuts. Don't worry son your real birthday gift is going to be given to you on the weekend when everyone can get here. I hope that your big gift is as well recieved. Oh yeah....and yes, there will be chocolate cake my son, you deserve chocolate cake! You are such a sweet little guy. Do you know how much we love you!
