Old fashioned family Thanksgiving celebration!
Here are a few more photos of our Thanksgiving family weekend. Poppa took us out on the hay wagon and went all through the pasture so that we could see the cows and horses up close and then he took us to the woods where we had that great walk in our happy place and here we are on the way home. Daddy stopped to cut some milkweed pods and the kids had a riot sending the seeds on their way! Wonderful memories for the kids to share later when they think about the fun times that they had on the farm. The weather was perfect and the turkey dinner that followed was cooked to perfection! It will be interesting to see where these milkweed seeds pop up next year. So far no sign of all the walnut trees we planted last year. I just know though that some year we will see them reaching up past the weeds as they grow so fast. It will be fun to watch them grow over time. Just like these beautiful kids!
